Reverend Lynnette received a Bachelor of Science in 2011 in Public Affairs and Public Policy. Shortly thereafter, she answered a calling to ministry, and in the Spring of 2012, she started attending Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. There, she received her Master's of Divinity in May of 2015 and graduated at the National Cathedral.
Reverend Lynnette has been in ministry since graduating. Schroon Lake Community Church was blessed to have her join us in July of 2016. In 2021, she was approved to be ordained in the United Church of Christ.
Her favorite verse is Romans 8:35-39. She says that "it reminds us that absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God." She states that "it is especially important because we live in a culture in which we are constantly told in various ways that we aren't good enough."
The part of ministry she finds most enjoyable is sitting with people, drinking coffee, and listening to their stories.
In the winter, she loves to snowboard, and in the summer spends time at Skye Farm Camp and enjoys sitting by campfires.
