Tekken Blood Vengeance is a computer-animated movie based on the popular fighting game series Tekken. Plot

The movie begins with Anna Williams, the head of G Corporation's biotech division, sending a spy named Xiaoyu to infiltrate Kyoto University and gather information on Shin Kamiya, a student who is rumored to be immortal. Xiaoyu meets Shin and befriends him, but soon discovers that he is being hunted by both G Corporation and the Mishima Zaibatsu, led by Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima respectively. Xiaoyu also encounters Alisa Bosconovitch, a cyborg girl who claims to be Shin's friend and protector. Together, they try to escape from their pursuers and uncover the truth behind Shin's immortality and his connection to the Mishima bloodline.

Production

Tekken Blood Vengeance was produced by Digital Frontier, the same studio that made Resident Evil: Degeneration and Resident Evil: Damnation. The director was Yoichi Mori, who previously worked on Appleseed Ex Machina and Death Note: L Change the World. The screenplay was written by Dai Sato, who is known for his work on Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and Eureka Seven. The music was composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto, who has scored games such as Final Fantasy XII, Valkyria Chronicles, and Odin Sphere.

Reception

Tekken Blood Vengeance received mixed reviews from critics and fans.
